Many years ago, Ana -a friend of mine- convinced me to buy a vacation package, I didn't have to be begged, so the next day we went together to "El Corte Inglés" where they had a dream promotion: round trip airplane tickets Mexico-Cancun-Mexico for two people, a week in a five star all inclusive hotel -of course, I was dying to know the spa- because I knew that this trip had to be a restorative one. 

A month later, I flew with my youngest niece (8 years old) and had a great time. 

And so it went until halfway through the week and already settled in the break, one of the waiters asked me if I already knew other beaches and I said no. I was very happy. 

Eager to see with my own eyes the wonders I had heard about, I contacted a cab service through the front desk that would take us to the ferry in Cancun and from there to Isla Mujeres for the day. 

Once on the Ferry, my niece and I were going along so happily when a bold group of package sellers started offering us a tour:
