In this country there is a small group of lawyers, mothers and fathers, who defend rapists. And it is understood that justice for those who are accused of sexual aggression must have a defense, but at what point do they twist ethics even though the evidence provided by the victim is verified while they drag out the trials and defend the indefensible in order to collect large sums of money to hide the truth?
How many of these lawyers defend their clients knowing they are guilty?
Is it just the money they wouldn't have if they defended victims and not culprits?
And if the criminal justice system is based on proving the evidence, why is it that by proving what the victims provide and demonstrating that they are guilty, they continue to protect them?
What we reproach is the fierce persecution of the victims, in order to destroy them, to annul them, so that they desist in their search for justice.
There is nothing more outrageous than knowing that victims who dare to courageously denounce child sexual violence are pressured, persecuted or silenced by rapists, through unscrupulous lawyers and indolent and corrupt judges.
In Mexico we have not only reached the highest levels of violence, we are also the shameful first places in the world in child sexual violence and all the aggressors find the protection of the authorities at all levels and they always get away with it, thanks to their economic power, political ties or legal trickery, while the victims go through hell itself, complaints against them, persecution and countless consultations with psychologists and psychiatrists, which incidentally, the percentage is minimal of those who can afford it.
Because in this country rape from power has become a constant, most likely thanks to our complicit silence.
The outrageous case of the former rapist Magistrate, who dared to rape his own daughters, we have commented again and again, but his shamelessness knows no limits and there is always a new version of episode or nightmare to be evidenced.
A couple of weeks ago, Mariel Albarrán, mother of the little girls, received a notification where she was notified of a lawsuit for loss of parental rights, yes, you read that right, the pedophile requested that the children he sexually assaulted be handed over to him, because although he recognizes the symptoms of sexual abuse in his daughters, he says it is a product of his imagination and the malpractice of ALL public and private specialists who have evaluated them.
Yes, according to him and his bought experts, the girls have deceived every specialist they have met for more than 5 years and although they all confirm the sexual violence, only the private experts, paid by Manuel Horacio Cavazos López, affirm - without having seen the girls even once - that they are lying, even psychics.
You need to have no mother, to hire a legal proxy to clear your name and allow you to continue violating.
They have also requested that Mariel Albarrán be evaluated by psychiatric experts and truly, every paragraph of this infamous lawsuit makes clear the misogyny of Cavazos López, but also that of her lawyer, who dared to mention a tragedy, revictimizing even after death a mother who fought to the end to protect her children, but the chain of omissions and negligence she faced, forced her to make a regrettable decision rather than hand over her children to a rapist.
And in this case, as in most, the only ones responsible are those who turned their backs on her, annulling the voice of her children and thereby closing the door to access to justice.
Cavazos López dared to request protection measures because she fears for her life and also demands to silence Mariel so that she does not share her case or demand justice on the "X" platform and other media, violating her right to freedom of expression and not only that, Cavazos López requested an immigration alert so that the victims do not leave the country, measures that were denied to the victims years ago.
The question for Rafael Guerra Álvarez is, how long will the outrages in the Judiciary of the CDMX continue for the daughters of Mariel Albarrán?
We are already several media outlets that are following the case, or will we also be silenced?
Human Rights Recommendations are not called to mass and show the accumulation of errors.
The other question is why the Prosecutor's Office and the Judiciary of Mexico City continue to protect Cavazos, when the matter is already before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, which has notified Mariel and her daughters that they have requested information from the Mexican State.
In this city the former rapist magistrate is still being investigated, over the years his daughters revealed death threats and many other aggressions, perhaps that is the reason for his desperation and insistence in calling them liars.
