Elsa Liliana Quezada Bañuelos has been, for 11 years, an impeccable employee of the Durango state government, with a position as administrative assistant at the State Attorney General's Office.

However, last Friday, with total arrogance and impunity, she was put at the disposal of the union of the Three Powers, which does not protect the rights of the workers, but rather serves the power of a few.

Upon arriving at the union, the clock read 11:35 a.m. when two people, a man and a woman, without prior identification, approached Elsa Liliana and asked her for her personal information. She replied and asked why they were needed, and the next thing she heard was: "Unfortunately, we are the bearers of bad news. We represent the Counseling Office of the Government of the State of Durango and we require your number because they are going to call you from that office to present you with a lawyer, since you were terminated".

-But what is the reason? -he asked.

-They will call you back and let you know - such an intimidating answer.

Who defends the workers of their own union?

How can we deny that the union is in cahoots with the Durango government?

How does the governor of the state of Durango, Dr. Esteban Villegas Villarreal, respond to this?

Why does Governor Villegas continue to support María del Carmen Villalobos Valenzuela, secretary general of the union, the woman behind the mistreatment, harassment and bullying of workers?

It is inadmissible that Governor Villegas, knowing the mafia that operates in this union, allows the complaints of unionized workers, who are victims of abuses, to go unsupported, and practically allows the "labor guillotine" to eliminate them without cause.

Governor Villegas is allowing abuses, robberies and threats by María del Carmen Villalobos Valenzuela, the union's general secretary. By not offering them protection, the only thing he is encouraging is to prolong union impunity.
