Mexico City - On Saturday, actor Matthew Perry died and for a moment the world stopped. It is very difficult to find characters today who are so endearing and deeply loved globally, but Matthew was that and more. And Chandler Bing, his character on the series Friends was created, in many of his funniest facets, from the actor who played him.

In his biography, published exactly one year ago, Matthew - who died at 54 - recounts how the creators of Friends took each of the beloved sitcom's cast members out to lunch to see how much of their personalities they could incorporate into the characters. Perry's inability to endure a silence without breaking it with a joke was one of the greatest gifts to the Friends dynamic for years.
