The U.S.-Mexico border is about to become an electoral battleground and today's meeting between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in Texas confirms it.

Winning the immigration battle is shaping up to be the key to winning the election, with a recent NBC News poll putting Trump well ahead of Biden on the issue.

According to this poll, 57% believe the Republican has a better handle on border security and immigration control. While only 22% believe Biden has it.
