It seems that Joan Sebastian became the guru of these times, because changing the name to keep secrets will be increasingly common in these times and with this not only to Donald Trump, but also to everything that comes with artificial intelligence.
We still don't know who Donald Trump owes respect to or who he loves, but renaming the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali in Alaska tells us that a new reality is in the making and that the world - once again - is on the move.
Maps are nothing more than an optical illusion. In fact, if we see the earth from outer space we will not see all the lines of political divisions, which rather correspond to the human folly that separates everything. So what we see is what someone else wants us to see and so reality is created.
Trump wants us to see a reality in which the United States expands so as not to disappear because he knows he needs to project his power in a different way to avoid the existential crisis that is coming their way. His country's identity is tied to being number one and when it is no longer number one they may no longer know who they are. That is why he turns to the world of optical illusions and Google helps him.
We must not forget that at his inauguration the CEOs of several technology companies, including Google, were present and that tells us thattechnology will be key in this new creation of reality. In fact, for Google users in that country, the Gulf of Mexico is now called the Gulf of America and that creates the illusion that once again it has taken territory away from Mexico and therefore, demonstrates its strength by banging on a table.
But it's not the only one, lately China has also been making some pretty interesting moves that herald the arrival of its own artificial intelligence-supported reality creation.
No one expected the Asian giant to overtake the US in this field and that is why the arrival of DeepSeek, the Chinese version of GPT Chat, caused a worldwide earthquake. Especially, when it was considered that the Asians were lagging behind and Donald Trump in his first week announced an investment of 500 billion USD in its development.
All of this is important because just as the Americans are changing the name of whatever is left, in order to keep the secret - a la Joan Sebastian - so are the Chinese. DeepSeek does not answer compromising questions for the Chinese government, especially those having to do with Taiwan and Tiananmen, thus creating its reality with the help of the use of technology.
DeepSeek is already the most downloaded app for both IOS and Android and does not use U.S. chips, so this move not only demonstrates Chinese supremacy in technology, but also its self-sufficiency.
Technology is power and history is written by those who win. So whether in Chinese or English, we are in times where technology makes us fall into a new illusion that little by little becomes our reality and as the famous Mexican singer-songwriter would say: "I'm going to change your name, based on what you have brought, now you will be called Gloria, you have it well deserved".
Last one to leave, turn off the light.
