The Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico, by a vote of 9 to 2, declared unconstitutional the first part of Plan B, proposed by President López Obrador.

"... Our country is a constitutional democracy, one of its fundamental principles is that decisions must be made through deliberative democratic procedures," said Magistrate Norma Piña yesterday.

And, following this, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) with a vote of 9 to 2, declared unconstitutional the first part of Plan B, proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and approved without discussion by his legislators in the Chamber of Deputies and Senators, using their majority.
