With special recognition to the mental clarity of Raymundo Campos.
There are few uncomfortable things we do if no one is really looking. That's why many of us "forget" to floss our teeth from time to time, use sunscreen even when there's no sun, pay Christmas bonus to the domestic workers or the building security guard (between "they don't even have a contract" and "who are they going to complain to... they're out of a job"), when nobody is looking is when we become a duck.
That is why, when the year begins and we have so much social conscience, a great idea to have a commitment is to register our domestic staff in the IMSS (not a resolution that is never fulfilled; you who read me do not think about it or write it down, just allow me to recommend that you do it without further ado), during the first fortnight of the year - which eye, does not "help at home", they work there and therefore it is not a funny concession to give them paid vacation, Christmas bonus or respect the working day and pay overtime.
