Claudia Sheinbaum sent a proposal for the Chamber of Deputies to analyze her initiative to reform the Organic Law of Public Administration. The reality is that everything the president sends to the deputies are not proposals; they are orders and they are there to obey, approve and legislate in a huff. They are never there to reason, to question, much less to reject the President's "proposals". As Martin Luis Guzman wrote in his novel La Sombra del Caudillo: "Mexican politics, gun politics, conjugates only one verb: to get up early".

The objective is to create new agencies at the service of the president. Not for Mexicans. Legislators must approve the proposal before November 15. One of these agencies will be the Secretariat of Anticorruption and Good Governance, which will replace the Secretariat of Public Function (SFP) and will absorb the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).

The plan is to replace public servants with militant loyalists-submissive to the 4T.

With the Secretariat of Anticorruption and Good Governance we will never know how much Claudia Sheinbaum's government spent on infrastructure or medicines for the mega pharmacy or mops for the National Palace. It will be impossible to know how many nephews, cousins, brothers, sisters-in-law and grandchildren of officials have government positions or ghost companies or millionaire properties. Nor will we be able to find out if there was any embezzlement in any of the government agencies.

Not like now, that thanks to INAI and the Superior Audit of the Federation we can know that from 2016 to 2023 in the IMSS $549,097 million 118,900 pesos were diverted. In SEGALMEX, $13,849 million 500,000 pesos. In INSABI, $9,798 million 303,531 pesos. In the CFE, $8,630 million 406,951 pesos. In INFONAVIT, Ps. 6,064 million 160,790 pesos. In ISSSTE, Ps. 2,105 million 100,000 pesos. In PEMEX Corporativo, $1,795 million 088,061 pesos. In CONADE, $640 million pesos. (Information from Enrique Hernández Alcázar).

Just as they legislated for "constitutional supremacy", any day now they will legislate for the disappearance of INE. In MORENA they are not corrupt. The people can trust that the Ministry of the Interior will count the votes correctly. They are not the same.

They are worse!

In the same way that they legislated in the reform of the Judiciary, they gave INE an early start, modifying Article 45 of the General Law of Electoral Institutions and Procedures, thus granting more power to Guadalupe Taddei.

Board members Dania Ravel, Carla Humphrey, Claudia Zavala, Arturo Castillo, Martín Faz and Jaime Rivera seek to challenge this reform.

Let us not forget that Arturo Castillo and Carla Humphrey voted in favor of the ruling that gave a qualified majority (364 seats) to MORENA and allies in the Chamber of Deputies. What an incongruence of these councilors that while the majority of MORENA in the Congress did not seem to affect them, the super power of Taddei did... and a lot.

Another who also voted in favor of giving the super majority to MORENA was Uuc-kib Espadas Ancona, who also expressed his disagreement with the reform, although he does not intend to challenge it.

And while he was at it, he gave a couple of blows to INE...

-In this election there were ironed ballots. We saw them on video. There is documentary evidence of them. And what did the parties that were harmed by these ironed ballots do? Nothing. Those ironed ballots counted as if they had been cast by citizens exercising their right to elect. The political parties tolerated this fraud, and what did the beneficiary political party that could also have challenged it do? -said INE counselor Uuc-kib Espadas Ancona. And just at that moment Guadalupe Taddei interrupted him.

-Counselor, just to request that you continue and finish your idea.

-Andwhat did the political party benefited with these ballots do? Accept this illegitimate benefit because it could also have challenged it," concluded the counselor.

This opened the pandora's box and over the weekend hundreds of photographs and videos of cloned tally sheets, tally sheets of unknown origin, forged signatures, blank tally sheets, tally sheets with identical handwriting and "ironed" ballots (ballots that had no folds and could not possibly have been placed in a ballot box) went viral, a sign that the ballot box was "pregnant".

Uuc-kib Espadas is right: the political parties tolerated the electoral fraud; besides it was a state election in which even organized crime had its hands in. The problem is that the opposition was afraid of looking like López Obrador and MORENA if they accused fraud in the 2024 election.

Xóchitl Gálvez tried that night -something completely legitimate-, but something or someone convinced her to accept the result and she immediately called Claudia Sheinbaum to congratulate her.

Six months later, the clarity of time, the evidence shows us that in the election of 2024 there was probably fraud. It is enough to analyze all the early risings that Claudia Sheinbaum has done in just one month of government.

And we are five years and eleven months away.
