The turn taken by the process of birth of Morena's presidential candidacy for 2024, with the procedure announced this Sunday, seems to be an expression that AMLO is no longer so sure of his original choice. Because the agreement that was made public is not really an agreement, which should have been the product of a consensus among aspirants and among the organs of the party. It has not been such. It is the decision of President López Obrador.
According to witnesses, it all began at the dinner on Monday, June 5, where AMLO met with the presidential hopefuls and governors of Morena, on the occasion of celebrating the election of Delfina Gómez in the state of Mexico.
