One of AMLO's communication skills recognized by allies and adversaries alike has been his ability to transmit easily digestible messages to mass audiences in compact phrases or expressions. A sort of jingles as effective as they are easy to remember.
That is why it is impossible to forget the expression he used to describe the strategy, or let's say, not to go so far, the orientation he would give to the fight against corruption, a transversal axis he proposed for his government in 2018.
He said, and returned to it as his doctrinaire style demanded, that he would clean the system of corruption "as one sweeps the stairs, from top to bottom".
