Delfina Gómez Álvarez's path in public administration exhibits a serious disdain for the exercise of probity and the law, judging by the institutional surveys carried out by qualified and competent authorities.

The Audit Unit of the National Electoral Institute (INE) found that the municipal administration headed by Gómez Álvarez in Texcoco built, with resources extracted from the payroll of the municipality, a parallel financial structure to give economic support to the electoral activities of his political clique and his party, Morena.

The operation is known as "Delfina's tithe".
