On Sunday, April 16, I had the opportunity to participate as moderator in the first debate of the candidates for governor of Coahuila, thanks to the generous invitation of the Electoral Institute of that state.
The enriching experience of intervening in the exercise itself was followed by a digital conversation in which several related topics appeared. I would like to highlight a question that occupied several of our reflections in a discussion chat among fellow journalists, which seems to me to be central: Should or should not the public attend these debates?
