The ninth anniversary of the disappearance of the Ayotzinapa normalistas is as bitter as the previous ones, but more frustrating. Reaching the truth was one of the many promises of the group that came to power in 2018.

Not all, but most of the victims' parents decided to believe them. However, if Murillo Karam's historical truth was already an affront to justice, the current investigation seems a monument to chaos: prosecutors have become convicts or fugitives, accusers have become suspects, criminals have become witnesses at liberty. The Prometheans who would bring the flame of truth are now the architects of darkness.

First, the file was closed at all costs and then a web of hypotheses was woven, trapped in contradictions of the powers that be. The only thing that has become clear is the criminal involvement of authorities of the three levels of government in the area. But the margin of error has widened. The pieces of the puzzle have been lost or no longer fit together. In the past, it was difficult to hope for justice. Today, there is no expectation of reaching a minimum level of truth.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
