"I'm not accepting the things I can't change, I'm changing the things I can't accept."- Angela Davis

A little over five years ago, a group of 20 of us women energy experts decided that we were fed up with the fact that there were no women at energy sector events, and if there were, it was by exception.

We decided to take the initiative in our hands and started to intervene in the "manels", that is, those events where only men gather to discuss all kinds of topics, including (how could we forget), breastfeeding; with social networks as a means of communication, raising our voices, making it clear that it is not normal that half of the population is not represented and that there is plenty of talent, it is just a matter of allowing their presence.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
