Gender-focused initiatives in companies can change the life of one woman and 12 other people, Araceli Becerril, director of Social Responsibility and Corporate Affairs & Engagement at L'Oréal Mexico, told me.

What are companies doing to put on a gender lens and bring about change? Why should everyone do it?

These questions were the starting point of last week's column, where I shared the cases of 8 companies with their respective gender initiatives and the list of 12 others that are part of Bloomberg' s Gender Equity Index 2023 .
