Starting the year on the right foot helps a lot. Setting goals, carrying them out and keeping them generates a feeling of accomplishment, we know that for some there is nothing more satisfying than reaching a goal and turning it into a habit. But, today I want to talk about what happens weeks before the start of the year when some of us lose focus.

Giving up on a goal is okay too. This 2024 I want to stop feeling bad about only going for a 6:00 am run for three weeks in January. I don't want to justify those of us who quit in the middle (or at the beginning), I want to reflect on the validity and importance of realizing that the goal we set was not the right one for us.
