Making financial decisions is something we do every day without giving much time or thought to the matter: do I withdraw money from your bank's ATM and walk a few blocks or pay the commission to make the withdrawal from someone else's ATM, do I leave my money in the checking account or do I make the effort to look for ways to protect it from inflation?
For many of these decisions to make sense for us and our personal finances, we have to make them with information. I share a fact: 2 out of 3 people do not compare financial products before contracting them. If we don't do our homework, we may have the most expensive credit card in the country and not even realize it.
