Mine passed away on January 21. 

Since then, every 21st I feel his absence and miss him more than any other day. 

I still don't understand why the world didn't stop if he was gone and I needed everything to pause. But the world doesn't stop for anyone's pain, it just keeps going and pushes us to adjust.

What is needed after the loss is time to come to terms with how to move on without that physical presence. It is that time that is the most difficult to obtain. 

We have already had parties or family celebrations without him; none of them are easier than the previous one.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
