There is a shared history that we women have, we are measured (and we measure ourselves) with another yardstick, a much more demanding one than the one used for our peers, so narrow that it does not allow margin for error. That is why this electoral process is very interesting to observe and compare with what has normally been demanded of male candidates. Here is a brief collection of what I have heard:

-Let herbe natural, let her be authentic, but not swear. (In other words, let her be her, but not too much her).

-That the party presidents do not accompany her, she does not have a good reputation and they detract from her. Cut to... why are they leaving Xóchitl so alone?

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
