I had already been using GTP chat basically to test what this technology that everyone raves about is all about, or almost everyone, from those who use it to write briefs and letters, to the NY Times reporter who felt the conversation got a little intense when the artificial intelligence asked him to leave his wife. But the question remains: is artificial intelligence malevolent, or because it feeds on what we've left lying around, is that what makes it give us scary results?
In such a case, artificial intelligence, rather than being malevolent, would be an extremely honest mirror.
