Sometimes we think that intuition has no place in a world as "rational and mundane" as business, we must analyze data, go to the measurable, to the real, and rely only on that: what do metrics, analytics, projections tell us? And do not bring into the equation something as intangible as "female intuition" (although I am sure that men also have it, but very dormant).

Well, let me tell you a story that happened to us just this year, 27 years after the company was created, with all the wisdom we have accumulated, with a sales system that we have built based on experience and common sense.

They contacted us by mail (as many clients do) asking for a quotation for an unusual amount of tea, in our "system" this kind of quotations are seen directly by the Commercial Director, who besides having a lot of experience in sales and knowing the ins and outs of the company, is also a partner and a relative of mine. She communicated with the potential client, first by e-mail to check the seriousness of the request and then by telephone. She followed all our guidelines (filling out a new customer form, proof of tax status, etc etc) and even found out much more than what we do when an order is "normal".

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
