Every January, without fail, among the lists of intentions and good resolutions is to reduce body weight, to eliminate the excesses of the holidays (since the holidays), to eat healthy, to exercise. Raise your hand who does not have at least one of these good intentions during the month of January, which, as the saying goes, fill the pantheons.

It is no secret that overweight and obesity cost people a lot of money, not to mention the health system. And that is without taking into account the diseases associated with overweight and obesity: diabetes, cancer, blood pressure, arthritis, autoimmune and degenerative diseases... and a long list of conditions and ailments that skyrocket due to our national diet, the so-called "T diet" (tacos, tortas, tamales, tortillas... not to mention garnachas and gorditas). Yes, we are a garnachero country and poorly educated in food (among other defects). As an example, just go to any restaurant for breakfast on a weekend: to start with a sweet bread and a hot chocolate, followed by a plate of fruit, a juice and for breakfast, a plate of chilaquiles, huarache, gorditas, eggs. It is equivalent to ingesting the calories of the day in a single session, all washed down with hot chocolate, coffee and a diet coke with ice.
