New things are shiny, clean and promise to be functional. With use, the shine wears off, the corners get dented, we test whether or not they are functional and the paint starts to peel. Peeling is not the same as showing copper. Because the expression of showing copper is not linked to time. Someone can show copper immediately. The tenant of the National Palace showed the copper with a homicide that took place in Villahermosa, Tabasco. He showed his copper by not taking responsibility or feeling guilt. He also showed it by taking so long to finish college. He showed his anger by joining the PRI and wanting power. He showed it by leaving the PRI because they did not give him the gubernatorial candidacy. He showed his full body by taking over 18 oil wells. As head of government, his copper was more exposed than hidden and as eternal candidate to the Presidency of the Republic, from 2005 to 2024, his copper was never covered. Whoever did not see the copper was because he did not want to, not because it was hidden.
