[The first act of the teacher is to introduce the idea that the world we think we see is only a vision [...] that compels us to feel and act as if we know everything there is to know about the world. A master, from the very first act he performs, sets out to stop that vision. The sorcerers call it stopping the internal dialogue.
This excerpt is found in Carlos Castaneda 's Relatos de Poder, one of thirteen books that recount the teachings of Don Juan Matus, a Yaqui sorcerer and nagual from the state of Sonora. The Yaqui people have always considered themselves an independent nation and this was respected by those who came from the Iberian Peninsula, but not by the pro-independence governments. By the way, the Yaqui War, which took place during the 1870s and 1880s, was one of the longest armed conflicts in Mexican history.
I know it will be difficult for you to understand this ancestral wisdom, Claudia, because culturally you are not Mexican. Neither was Carlos Castaneda, a Peruvian writer naturalized in the United States, who also had a hard time. However, this wisdom is available to all peoples of the universe. So Claudia, stop your internal dialogue, because there is no doubt that you act as if you know what there is to know about the world.
Tell your story well, you are the result of a migration forced by wars and the need to get ahead; you were born in Mexico, but your blood, your culture and your family is European and Jewish, your four grandparents and your mother are Jews who were born and lived in the Russian Empire, Lithuania and Bulgaria. The Talmud (book of rabbinical discussions on Jewish law) states "And the numbers of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or counted", interpreted as forbidden to count Jews. This prohibition is explained because counting individualizes the Jewish people and therefore loses the unity and connection with YHVH (GOD). Not for that reason do not stop counting well those whom you are ruling.
Assuming, without conceding, that 36 million votes equals 36 million people, INEGI says that in 2023 there were 129 million Mexicans living in Mexico. Count well your overwhelming electoral figure, because it is only equivalent to 27.90% of the Mexicans you have to govern. Count well, because 93 million Mexicans did not vote for you (2.58 times those who did) to whom you also owe yourself as president.
Universal history tells us that the world has been built from conquests and wars. Today, thanks to DNA studies, we know that people are made up of multiple origins, which were mixed either by love, wars or fleeting desires. Think well about forgiveness, because apologies at the wrong time are absurd. Tell well the Sephardic origin of your maternal family, Jewish descendants of the Iberian Peninsula. According to your logic and lack of historical-temporal accuracy, you should also offer an apology. In this irrational logic, will you also offer an apology for the decision of the Sanhedrin to condemn Jesus to death, 2 thousand years ago?
Count today as your first day as president. Yes, the president is you. Count well your femininity and your triumph as the first woman president of Mexico, because in an oversight, you will end up being the submissive facade of today's ex-president-dictator-in-cybers, who makes you believe that you need him to explain to you how to exercise power. A good mentor could explain to you how to work, but he has never done it, he would not know how to guide you.
Suspend your internal dialogue that convinces you that everything your collaborators do, just because they are part of the fourté, is valid and is part of the transformation in favor of the Mexican people. Because that internal dialogue will make your presidency a catastrophe. Tell well the differences between your culture and the Mexican one, "I feel you have not been gassed enough", shamefully you let it pass like so many other violence, without demanding an apology. Gassing for Mexicans is an abuse of riot power, while for the Jewish people it was an effective and massive method by which millions died in the Nazi concentration camps. Are you going to gas us more?
