I continue to applaud the labor reform to prevent subcontracting in companies and to put an end to all kinds of scams that allow employers to create precarious employment schemes and lack of social security to avoid paying taxes. (Footnote, dear Luisa María: I could make you a list of companies that still break the law and continue subcontracting and nothing happens).

From the trenches of Opinion 51 we have pointed out time and again the labor and salary disparity by gender, the glass ceiling and labor exclusion for women. But today I would like to put my finger on another sore spot that hurts: job discrimination against older adults.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
