Within the framework of the Open Parliament to discuss the proposed General Law on Humanities, Science, Technology and Innovation[1], it is important to highlight that:
We are in a context with a polarizing and Manichean discourse that impacts society in general, which spreads the idea that those of us who generate knowledge and transmit it find ourselves in a space of comfort, added to the prejudice of distancing or opposing public and private research centers with the belief that there is a differentiated science.
