Today, 36 days after your departure, I sit here in front of a blank page full of possibilities, but also full of your memory. This sheet gives me the opportunity to reflect on what it is like to live in a world without you, without my greatest gift, without my abu. However, I do not want these lines to be just a lamentation, but a tribute to the life you loved so much and taught us to enjoy.

36 days ago, at 3:33 pm, you closed your eyes to open them in eternity. At that precise instant, my life took a 180 degree turn. Even though I knew this moment would come, one is never prepared enough to receive the only certainty we have from the moment we are born.
