Historian Pedro Salmerón's main argument to counterattack those who dared to stain his image is that there are no formal complaints of harassment against him before any authority.

The former professor's unseemly approach is that he is the victim here.

He was accused of conduct. Not once. Not twice. Not one student, but several; from different generations. Not in a courtroom, not in a public prosecutor's office, but in various media, some anonymously, others with name, face and surname. A quick search on the Internet, almost four years later, yields four direct testimonies in audiovisual media and press, with a similar modus operandi: inviting messages. There is nothing wrong with inviting a woman, but disregarding one's own situation of power and doing so insistently under unequal conditions is harassment.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
