Blinken's visit along with other high-level U.S. officials only confirms one thing: Mexicans are number one in the neighboring country's mind whether it is because of the taco or the narco.
President Joe Biden knows that the love or fear of Mexicans has a strong electoral impact and that it goes beyond the guacamole at the Superbowl or the imaginary that Mexican migrants can invade and end their country, because now we must add the death factor that appears with drugs such as fentanyl or illegal arms trafficking that ends lives in Aztec lands.
