For Never Mothers
The representation of women who choose not to be mothers is important for your daughter, son or daughter. Questioning whether or not we want to be mothers is relevant in an increasingly complex world. However, many of us have had a hard time making this decision, mainly because the unconscious of some women has understood and internalized that at some point in life we will be mothers.
Since we were little we have seen, heard, and read that the vast majority of women around us are or will become mothers. We don't have so many examples of women who have decided not to become mothers, we don't know what their lives, projects, families are like, we don't know their stories. So what happens if we decide not to become mothers? What story do we tell ourselves? What's next? These are questions that permeate the logic of life as a linear story, in which a succession of objectives or achievements must be reached. Even if we rationally understand that life is not linear, human nature makes it difficult to imagine something you have not seen, heard, or felt.
