It is very likely that few of us know this, which for me was also an unpleasant surprise: people with intellectual disabilities are not insured.

It is already known that insurance companies, like nightclubs, reserve the right of admission; only in this case the chain is tougher and something bigger than a night of punchis-punchis, bad decisions and expensive cocktails is at stake. They discriminate against a very clear group and that power they allow themselves is broad and completely discretionary.

Within the bag of what is considered uninsurable can fit, at any given time, any ailment, condition or disease and change from one case to another and from one company to another. If you have a life condition other than the regular one, it is really in Chinese, you are not entitled to insurance.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
