Like every year, last December I spent a few minutes thinking about my resolutions for 2024. Like most people, I included the most popular ones about health (diet) and sports. I also added some associated with my work and personal relationships. However, this year I considered, for the first time, implementing measures to improve my peace of mind. While I have thought of some activities that could help me achieve this goal by reducing the stress and apprehension I often suffer from, I am also aware that living in Mexico makes this task very difficult.

For several years now, those of us who live in this country have become accustomed to higher levels of violence. Without realizing it, we are constantly on alert to take care of our belongings and, in general, our integrity, whether we are on public or private transportation, walking down the street or even when we are inside our homes. The newspapers are flooded with cases of extortion, rape, disappearance, kidnapping, corruption and many others that remind us daily of all the dangers to which we are exposed.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
