What does the Secretariat for Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation propose?

Recently Claudia Sheimbaum, President-elect of our country, announced that the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (Conahcyt) will become the Secretariat of Sciences, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI).

The new Secretariat will be headed by Rosaura Ruiz Gutiérrez, a graduate in Biology, Master and PhD in Science, from UNAM and who recently served as Secretary of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Mexico City when Claudia Sheinbaum was Head of Government.
