Every loss of human life is a tragedy that should move us all. Violence in all its forms is unjustifiable and only perpetuates pain and resentment.

It has been a week and a half since the attacks between Israel and Hamas began, and the toll of this conflict is devastating. In the face of Hamas' brutal and merciless attack, Israel declared war and launched an indiscriminate attack against Palestine, unleashing an atrocious battlefield that has claimed the lives of thousands of civilians caught in the crossfire.

What has this escalation of conflict left the world with? It has stripped us of our humanity by showing us that religion has made us more polarized and that violence is not the answer to conflict resolution. The answer lies in respecting the law and human rights.
