The polls spoke: women won

There is still a lack of political actors, both independent and from other parties, to join the race.

Ahead of the 2024 elections, Enkoll has been closely monitoring the presidential hopefuls. For the past year, we have conducted nine home surveys for W Radio and El País.

In general terms, preferences remained stable from August 2022 to September of this year: Claudia Sheinbaum maintained a clear first place, while Marcelo Ebrard held a second position in the internal race.

In the case of our last survey published in August 2023, we at Enkoll gave a 17% lead and, in the end, it turned out to be 14%, which means that our estimates were consistent and accurate.

Between baby boomers and generation Z

The problem is not that so many different generations are living together for the first time, but that the interests and the way of seeing, understanding and representing what is happening in the world is totally different for each one of them.
