Every second that passes, water -or the lack of it- accompanies us. In our country, everyone can have a story of extremely diverse angles to address the issue and yet, this February 14, I did not stop seeing publications in networks where they invited to take advantage of all the love you can because life as we know it -with water- is going to change.

A week ago, in my building we had to get the plumber because one of the faucets on the rooftop sinks "thundered" and went from dripping to spurting water. My boyfriend and I felt the pressure and looked for a quick fix while the management took it in stride.

Because of the design of the roof there was no stopcock or any way to close the pipe temporarily. Plugging the sink would cause it to flood and puddle very quickly, putting buckets in was another option but they would soon fill up and at the slightest oversight the puddles and waste would be there again. It was frustrating.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
