In order for a person to take advantage of the economic opportunities presented to him/her, he/she requires the fulfillment of indispensable rights. fulfillment of indispensable rightsThese include education, health services, nutritious food, social security benefits and quality housing with basic services. However, despite the efforts that have been made for decades, the majority of the population is not guaranteed these rights.  

In 2022, two out of every three Mexicans had at least one social deprivation, meaning that some essential right was not met. The most common deprivation was lack of access to social security (50% of the total population), followed by lack of access to health services (39%). Both are the main challenges to social development and are connected by labor informality.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
