Once again, we are witnessing the president's witticisms that do not match the statistics or the way in which decisions are made in the private sector.
At Monday's morning conference, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador was asked about Tesla's intention to invest in Mexico and the location of the "giga-plant". To which he answered -with detours and perceptions- that the plant should not be in Nuevo Leon because it has a water shortage. However, he will suggest to the company's directors to consider Hidalgo, near the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA), or the Southeastern states, which concentrate 70% of the water.
