This is my first column of the year in this space and I dedicated it to reflect on a different topic from the ones I usually analyze in my writings: is it possible to be happy in the midst of an uncertain and polarized context? My conclusion is that yes, and most of the time it depends on ourselves.
This year I turn 40 and maybe that's why I've been looking for readings and podcasts related to wellness. A topic that seems to me to be key in the face of this 2024 in which the world is in turmoil. Both Mexico and the United States will have presidential elections, which have heated ideological battles and whose results could further complicate the economic outlook. How do we navigate what lies ahead without falling into constant tension?
