A few weeks ago, the Early Childhood Subcommittee of the Education Commission of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) invited me to be part of the evaluation committee to recognize a group of companies that have policies that favor people in early childhood, that is, from birth to five years of age. It was an interesting process that culminated with the award ceremony this Monday, which showed that the private sector has the possibility of contributing to the wellbeing of households and increasing the country's human capital.

Around 60 companies were recognized -in different categories- for the design and implementation of actions within and outside their community, for the degree of commitment measured through the definition of objectives and goals together with budget allocation, for the perception of their own collaborators and for participation in the activities organized by the Early Childhood Subcommittee .

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
