Recently, a series of posts on social networks led me to two reflections: "the world is upside down" and "awards can be very dangerous". This when talking about entrepreneurs and startup founders. What happens is that I am convinced that "pinching the cheeks" before time to many entrepreneurs who are just starting is a big mistake, especially when some awards lack a serious methodology behind them.

In these times of fake news and unsubstantiated "studies", anyone could invent that they have a company that is revolutionizing an industry but, at the moment of truth, they cannot show growth data, value, direct and indirect impact. This is not about giving visibility because this is necessary to create inspiration; it is about living from the reflector.... and no, it is not the same thing. In the first concept, the focus is on merit, in the second, vanity and ego are the center. We all remember the Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos case .

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
