Margo Glantz will receive this morning the Carlos Fuentes 2022 award for literary creation; she will be the third woman on a list that includes Mario Vargas Llosa (who in 2012 was the first to receive it), Sergio Ramírez (in 2014), Eduardo Lizalde (2016), Luis Goytisolo (2018), Luisa Valenzuela(2019) and Diamela Eltit (in 2020). The name of Margo Glantz adds to the already undisputed prestige of this award.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
