Artificial Intelligence (AI) is all the rage. It is the future; but... the present is present. It is the here and now. It is today, today, today. And right now what is on the rise, uncontainably, is loneliness.
Countless figures in philosophy, literature, science, sociology, psychology... and many other areas of human endeavor have been dedicated to and concerned about loneliness in society. Émile Durkheim in the eighteenth century, in The Suicide, raised a first reflection on loneliness as a significant social condition in the last century, which has been growing exponentially in the last century. which has been growing exponentially throughout the world and in these first 24 years of the 21st century.
Loneliness multiplies up to five times the chances of suffering from depression and committing suicide according to the document issued in 2021 under the title Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu.
