No information was found - neither on websites of public entities nor on the National Transparency Platform - on 161 social programs and actions aimed at mitigating the effects of COVID-19 in Mexico City. Projects financed with public funds of which we have no open data, this according to the recent report presented by InfoCDMX, the guarantor of transparency in the country's capital. This study measured the published information of 227 programs and actions implemented by 23 agencies of the local public administration between 2020 and 2022.

In other words, the implementation, scope, impact and results of 70.93% of the 227 total programs remained unreported. The exhaustive report Social Programs and Actions at two years of COVID-19 #AperturaEnCOVIDled by Commissioner María del Carmen Nava Polina and her Open State team reflects, once again, the now almost commonplace that we cannot measure what we do not know.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
