One night I had a dream. A figure from my imagination who looked like Herman Munster, one of the characters from the sitcom "The Monster Family" from the 1960s, woke me up with a whisper: "read _The Power of Now_ by Eckhart Tolle". What a strange way to wake up and recommend books to myself. After this dreamlike encounter I thought it necessary to tell you what happened.

I listened to my subconscious and took the time to read the recommendation in the midst of a thousand pending and false promises of love. I confess that I had no faith in it because the book is considered "self-improvement", but what I found was a book that invited me to a deep introspection, encouraging me to live in the present to reach inner peace and spiritual enlightenment. It certainly reminded me of a silent retreat I took with a lay Buddhist named Tue.
