This week I traveled with my family to New York. It was a micro vacation that we had been planning for a long time and we finally managed to align the stars to make it happen. 

And I'm not exaggerating when it comes to alignment: traveling with a person with a child with a disability is a task that requires pro-level logistics and planning. 

Although there are parts of a trip that are always difficult and lacking in common sense (such as airlines or airports), this time there were some interesting surprises that I want to share so that someone else who uses a wheelchair and has a motor disability can take the journey with these suggestions and shortcuts: 

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
