Children's birthday.

A group of mothers gathered at a small table wait for the rituals of games, piñata and cake to happen with the help of cheerleaders.

The complaint was strong and many of them decided that the following school year they would change their children's schooling: "it can't be that at 11 years old I find out that my daughter can't read", "the teachers don't make them read and don't warn them that my child stutters word by word", "I understand that we were locked up with the pandemic, but from there to not having a single text that my child can retain and explain, that's serious".

Most of the table had made the decision in the previous quarter to send them to extra classes in the afternoons for Spanish, English and math. "And even so: I have spent so much on teachers and logistics for nothing, we continue as before."

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
