Breathe

Temperance: ability to take a deep breath, maintain sanity and explain reality with all its pains, flavors and textures without fuss.
Feminism: the ability to be empathetic, caring, respectful and supportive of ALL WOMEN.
Capacity: it has no sex, gender, color or texture, it exists or it does not exist. It can or it cannot.
Extreme feminism distorts the true intention of defending, caring for, respecting and giving equity to women in a world of men.
Machismo distorts the true intention of defending, caring for, respecting and giving equity to women in a world of men.
The extremes touch.
To be a feminist is to be empathetic with the woman next to you, to help her, to build, to listen, to respect, to make the path easier, even if it has cost you a lot. From being a political and social movement, feminism has become a daily life strategy.
Feminism today has a place in the professoriate, in finance, in culture, in psychology, in the arts, in politics, in science, in gastronomy, in clean energy, in security, in conversation, in lifestyle.
All this that sounds so beautiful is a story that we have to replicate, daily practice and permanent sensation for ALL WOMEN.
It is true that hormones play against us, but it is also true that over time, science and life have taught us to master the beautiful art of watching our emotions and body transform by the second into a little monster.
In politics, there are women who have weathered a life of abuse, criticism, censorship and nullification because they are women. But there they are, they fought and they succeeded.
I have always believed that when we get to places in equity with men then we have to behave as responsible humans, not as sensitive people of convenience.
It is not valid to say that we resent criticism when our work is of a public nature.
It is not valid to say that we are attacked when we do not respect those next to us.
It is not valid to use the feminist cause to get involved in the story of only defending my own.
The Cuauhtémoc Blanco case came to expose the true feminists of the system, those who believe that the defense of all is necessary and valid. No matter if they do not belong to Morena.
But it also exposed those politicians with sensitive skin when it comes to criticism, questioning and doubt about their public actions.
Let it be clear, they put themselves in the public spotlight as representatives of the citizenry, they decided to join a world where you have to have a tough skin, tanned, clean, but capable of resisting scathing criticism and servile flattery.
Fourth T women get indignant when you question them and lash out hard at other women. Those are the ones with sensitive skin for convenience.
