In a country where, according to data from the ENDIREH (National Survey on the Dynamics of Household Relationships), 7 out of every 10 women have suffered at least one situation of psychological, physical, sexual, economic or patrimonial violence, in the framework of the International Day to Eliminate Violence against Women, it was the groups of policewomen and policewomen who took over the main avenues of downtown Mexico City.

Women's participation in the formal economy is still governed by gender mandates, the absence of a national care system (and the discourse from the top chair) forces women to stay at home caring for children, the elderly and people with disabilities. The wage gap, which according to UN Women can be up to 30%, keeps us in a condemnation to poverty.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
